With its numerous swimming pools, from the large scale to smaller private oasis’s for exclusive use, there is a range of swimming pools to suit everyone. So, to make it easier for you to find the pool experience that's right for you, we’ve complied a list of some of Hamilton Island's most popular pools and conditions for their use: Open to the general public: Main Pool Our main pool which has its own Swim-up bar for drinks and snacks. Why walk to a bar for a drink when you can swim? The main pool on Hamilton Island has something for everyone and is the largest swimming pool on the island. All guests of the island are welcome to enjoy this crowd-pleasing pool. Whether the kids want to splash about, you want to chill in one of the many nooks surrounded by tropical gardens or you want to have fun and enjoy one of the live music sessions… it’s the pool for everyone. Sails pool is popular for taking a dip but even more so, as the perfect place to get your Instagram worthy pool pic. With a stunning view of Catseye Beach, adjoined by palm trees and the renowned Passage Peak in the distance, this swimming pool is the perfect location for capturing your Hamilton Island holiday photo. It’s also situated right next to Sails Restaurant. Pefect if some of your group want to take a dip and others want to put their feet up and have a drink. Tip: As Catseye Beach is tidal make sure you time your picture taking with high tide when the beach is looking its very best. The tropical pool has curved edges which make it more accessible for younger swimmers and has a range of depths. Tip: Next to the pool is the Beach Pavilion Kiosk. It’s a quick and easy spot to get pool snacks and drinks. The hot food service is between 11am-3pm and the burger is a go-to. Pools for exclusive use of accommodation specific guests: Yacht Club Villa Great for group holidays the Yacht Club Villas look out to Dent Passage. Guests staying at Yacht Club Villa’s also get exclusive access to this stunning swimming pool. It makes our list for its dreamy view and surrounding private grounds.
