- Cruise Whitsundays
- Great Barrier Reef Adventures – full day tour to Reefworld, the largest Australian floating pontoon on the Great Barrier Reef. Snorkelling trails, underwater viewing chamber, and sundeck. Includes a full buffet lunch, morning & afternoon tea and tea & coffee
- Whitehaven Beach Tour – full day tour to Whitehaven Beach (7km of silica white sand). Includes BBQ lunch, afternoon tea and beach activities at Whitehaven - Island Escape Day Cruises – half day tour options available to the Whitsundays and Daydream Island

- Hamilton Star Sunset and Seafood – a 3hr cruise combining traditional style boating with a scrumptious seafood smorgasbord
- Hamilton Island Air - Offers a range of scenic flights to the Great Barrier Reef and over the Whitsundays. Duration can range from 10 minutes to 2 hours with aircraft including helicopters, fixed-wing and sea planes. There are also options to visit Reefworld (and return by Cruise Whitsundays).

Post Office
Location: Front Street
Times: 9.00am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday
Mail can be addressed to your work post office box (available in the welcome booklet) and your manager will collect all mail and distribute it to each employee at your workplace. If using a supplier such as Kmart, who do not recognise Hamilton Island addresses, you can use 1 Front Street as the address, however, you must add your correct PO Box in the notes.

Rainforest Café
The Rainforest Café and R Bar is accessible to staff and concessionaires only. Rainforest Café provides dine-in and takeaway meals for all employees for a small cost. Open for lunch (11.30am - 2.30pm) and dinner (5.00pm - 8.30pm).

Price: $5 for staff members between 8.30am - 4.30pm, free for those who return to Hamilton Island on the last ferry from the mainland and free between 11.30pm - 2.00am.

Robert Oatley College
As part of your commitment to Hamilton Island, you will be required to complete compulsory training prior to arrival as well as a detailed induction giving you information about living on Hamilton Island as well as on the job training.
Hamilton Island also encourages employees to develop their skills and participate in training courses that will enhance their career development – you’ll be able to discuss your interests and options for training with your Department Manager and the Learning and Development team.
Sports Club
Location: Beside the Reef View Hotel
Facilities: Weights, cardio and classes. Staff rates available.
Staff Pool
Location: Above the Bougainvillaea car park
Facilities: Staff gatherings are permitted at the staff pool. Strictly no glass is permitted in the pool area. For anyone wanting to book the BBQ area please see the Staff Accommodation office for details.
Staff Gym
Located between Azure Lodge and Sunrise Waters
Times: Open from 5.00am - 10.00pm
Facilities: Weights, boxing and cardio equipment.
Staff Activities

Essential Services
Allied Health Centre:
Location: Next to the Medical Centre
Facilities: Dental, Physiotherapy, Shiatsu, Counselling and Chiropractor services on certain days of the week. Treatments by appointment only. All details for every service available on the Hamilton Island App.
Island Security - dial 68119 / 4946 8119
Location: Island Security and Staff Accommodation building
Times: 24 hours (office hours 8.30am - 4.00pm Monday to Friday)
Facilities: Assist with any security or safety issue, resolve late night noise problems, and instigate Emergency Response. Please contact Island Safety for any room lock outs or lost room keys after hours.
Island Shuttle
Local timetabled bus network with bus stops located throughout Hamilton Island. Operates from 7.00am - 11.00pm daily.
Medical Centre:
Location: Across the road from the Resort Centre
Times: 8.00am - 12.00pm and 2.00pm - 5.00pm Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 12.00pm Saturday and Sunday. Closed public holidays. Staffed by General Practitioners, bookings essential. Please call 07 4946 8243. In case of an emergency dial 000/112 from your mobile phone or work phone.
Pharmacy:

Times: 8.30am - 6.00pm Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 4.00pm Saturday and Sunday.
