It was extraordinary from the greeting at the airport; French champagne on arrival (and THAT view); personalised service at check in / check out (more champagne!); the asistance with bookings; sailing (thanks Rex!) the cleaning staff, resort staff, the list goes on and on.....we have never experienced anything quite as good, anywhere.

We enjoyed the total peace and quiet of the resort which allowed us to gain some well earned rest. We will be back again same time next year (June 2015)

The view and general feel of the place. It is very peaceful and a delight to spend time in either your pavilion or the public areas. The buggy is also a novelty.

From the moment we arrived at the airport, they took care of our bags and checked us in with a canape and mocktail. When we entered our room we had a lovely gift from Marcus the manager. Thanks Marcus! The room was great. Fantastic view on the second floor and away from the restaurant.…

Hamilton Island Airport is the gateway to your Whitsundays holiday. The quaint Great Barrier Reef airport handles direct flights daily from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Cairns, operated by Virgin, Jetstar and Qantas.
Passenger ferry services arrive and depart regularly from the Hamilton Island Marina, making it easy to access the mainland and Whitsunday Islands while on your Great Barrier Reef holiday.
Hamilton Island runs a continuous complimentary Island Shuttle service for all island guests. Or, if you prefer to travel at your own pace, you can hire your own buggy to get around Hamilton Island.
