Hamilton Island also offers a complimentary Shuttle service. Simply hop on or off at any of the designated stops, and use the service as much or as little as you like.
If you’re staying at the Reef View Hotel, Palm Bungalows, The Sundays or any Holiday Home booked through Hamilton Island Holiday Homes, you can take advantage of our Kids Stay & Eat Free program.
Kids Stay Free: At participating accommodation, children 12 years and under stay free when sharing a room with parents and using existing bedding.
Kids Eat Free: Children 12 years and under can enjoy a complimentary meal from the kids’ menu participating restaurants when dining with an adult who has purchased a main meal. Maximum 2 kids per adult meal purchased.

Hamilton Island operates a cashless environment and remains committed to providing convenient and secure payment options for our guests while ensuring operational efficiency.
For guests preferring cash transactions, pre-paid or top-up Mastercards are available at the Australia Post office on Hamilton Island’s Front Street. Cash deposits and withdrawals are facilitated through the Bank@Post service.
Fee-free card payments can be made via EFTPOS (you must click on the ‘cheque’ or ‘savings’ option at the terminal and you must make this request to our staff). A 1.25% surcharge applies to credit and 'tap and go' transactions.

Please note that Hamilton Island Holiday homes are to be used for holiday letting purposes only: weddings, parties or large gatherings are not permitted. Non-compliance with this policy may result in unregistered and registered guests being evicted from the property and fees may apply. The following island works have been confirmed to address maintenance requirements and product refurbishment.
- Beach Club external painting, 27 January to 27 March 2026 -Repainting of the beachside façade of Beach Club, including balconies and external walls, will take place from 27 January to 27 March 2026. There may be intermittent noise between 9.00am and 5.00pm as surfaces are prepared for repainting. Scaffolding will be in place outside parts of the building for the duration of the works.
- Beach Club bar refurbishment Works, 20 February to 6 March 2026 - Refurbishment of the Beach Club bar will take place from 20 February to 6 March 2026. The Beach Club bar area will be unavailable during this period; however, a temporary poolside bar will operate throughout. There will be louder construction noise around the restaurant and pool during daytime work hours.

- Ambulance: The Queensland Ambulance Service operates on Hamilton Island. In case of a medical emergency, please dial ‘000’.
